Team India landed in New Delhi after being stuck in Barbados amidst Hurricane Beryl.

The streets of Mumbai transformed into a vibrant sea of celebration as Team India's victory parade rolled through the city.  Atop an open-top bus, amidst a throng of cheering fans, stood Indian captain Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli.  Both held aloft the gleaming T20 World Cup trophy, proudly showcasing it to the thousands gathered to witness this historic moment. The parade, which began at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), saw the team make their triumphant journey through the city.  Fans lined the streets, their cheers echoing as they eagerly awaited a glimpse of their cricketing heroes.  At Marine Drive, a particularly large crowd gathered, transforming the night into a mesmerizing spectacle with a sea of flashing phone lights.  In a heartwarming display of team spirit, Virat Kohli, a pillar of Indian cricket, invited Rohit Sharma to share the honor of holding the trophy – a gesture symbolizing the unified effort that led them to victory.

Team India's key players actively engaged with the ecstatic crowd during their victory parade. Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Shivam Dube were spotted front and center on the open-top bus, waving enthusiastically to the fans. While the parade was originally scheduled to begin around 5 PM, a slight delay in the team's flight and bustling activity at the airport pushed back the start time. Despite this minor setback, the event remained a spectacular success.

Marine Drive became the epicenter of the celebration, packed with fans eager to catch a glimpse of their heroes. As the open-top bus, adorned with a celebratory image of the Indian team, slowly navigated its way towards the Wankhede Stadium, the energy crackled. The bus, which picked up the players at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), covered a 1.5-kilometer route before culminating in a grand finale at the iconic stadium.
