India's batting maestro Virat Kohli answered all critics with a game-changing knock in the Final of the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, on June 29 (Saturday). He smashed 76 runs in a pressure situation and helped the Men in Blue post the biggest total in the history of all T20 World Cup Finals. Even former Pakistan player Kamran Akmal was all praise for the star player and heavily praised the star batter for his innings on the biggest stage, where it mattered the most.

Kamran Akmal praised the partnership between Virat Kohli and Axar Patel that revived the Indian innings. He also called Kohli a big match player and praised his knock against South Africa in the T20 World Cup Final.

Virat Kohli was going through a rough patch in this season of this mega tournament and only had a total of 75 runs in all matches before the final. Then he smashed a 76-run innings after India lost three wickets inside the powerplay. He also joined a crucial 72-run partnership with Axar Patel that revived the Indian team from the backfoot. Apart from them Shivam Dube also played a good cameo but it was majorly Kohli who despite taking 48 balls for his fifty ensured that India reach big total.
