On July 4, the Indian star landed in New Delhi from Barbados after a 16-hour-long journey and then after meeting the Prime Minister of India. He participated in the massive victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium along with the celebration and felicitation ceremony. However, despite the tight schedule and no rest, Virat reportedly right away flew for London to be with his wife Anushka Sharma, and kids.
Virat Kohli takes a late flight for London
After completing all necessary meetings and ceremonies on the day of his return from Barbados, Virat was spotted at the Mumbai airport late at night. As per reports, he has taken a flight for London to meet his wife and kids. His Bollywood actor wife Anushka Sharma is reportedly in the UK along with their two children Vamika and Akaay.
Virat Kohli praises Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have announced their retirement from T20I cricket after finishing at the highest of highs. During the celebration ceremony, Virat Kohli heavily praised both Rohit and Jasprit Bumrah.
"We have been playing for the last 15 years, this is the first time, I see Rohit so emotional - he was crying, I was crying, a huge between both of us - I will never forget that day," Kohli said.
Kohli also didn't hold back from praising on Jasprit Bumrah, who also remained the key architect in India's T20 World Cup title triumph. Kohli termed Bumrah once in a generation bowler.
"I need to applaud a guy, who brought us back to the game, again, again, again and please, a huge cheer for "Bumrah". Bumrah is a once in a generation bowler, we are lucky that he play for us," Kohli said
