Harbhajan Singh was in no mood to mince his words after Mohammad Amir’s distasteful tweet after Pakistan’s maiden win over India in World Cup events. Former Pakistan bowler poked Harbhajan writing on Twitter whether he had broken his TV set after India’s 10-wicket loss to Pakistan in their T20 World Cup 2021 opener to which Harbhajan gave a fitting reply.
“hello everyone woh pochna yeah tha @harbhajan_singh paa ji ne TV to ni tora apna koi ni hota hai end of the day its a game of cricket,” tweeted Amir.
In reply, the ‘Turbanator’ reminded Amir of the 2010 Asia Cup match where he hit the left-arm fast bowler for a six to finish off the run chase with one ball to spare. He even pinned the tweet along with the video on the top of his Twitter account.
“Ab Tum bi bologe @iamamirofficial yeh 6 ki landing tumhare ghar k tv par to nahi hui thi ?? Koi nahi hota hai end of the day it’s a game of cricket as u rightly said,” tweeted Harbhajan.
Amir did not stop here and tried to poke fun at the off-spinner again by reminding Harbhajan of the Lahore Test in 2005 where former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi had hit him for four sixes.
Amir came up with a prompt reply, “me busy tha @harbhajan_singh apki bowling dekh raha tha test jab LaLA ne apko 4 bowls pe 4 sixes mare thay but cricket hai lag sakte but test cricket me Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweatSmiling face with open mouth and cold sweatSmiling face with open mouth and cold sweatSmiling face with open mouth and cold sweatthora ziada ho gia tha”.
This time Harbhajan did not hold back and reminded the time Amir tainted the gentlemen’s game with spot-fixing in Lord’s Test against England in 2010 which later resulted in him getting banned for five years.
Harbhajan further replied, “Lords mai no ball kaise ho gya tha ?? Kitna liya kisne diya ? Test cricket hai no ball kaise ho sakta hai ? Shame on u and ur other supporters for disgracing this beautiful game”.
