Former Indian World Cup-winning all-rounder Yuvraj Singh shared a meme about Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma. Yuvraj posted the meme as an Instagram story which says ”yuvi aaj agar hota to middle order strong hota” (Had Yuvraj been there in the team, we would have had a strong middle order).
The Indian team lacked a finisher in the first two games where they struggled to put a decent score while batting first. While India failed to accelerate in the middle overs against Pakistan, in the clash against Kiwis they did not score a single boundary in the middle overs leading to a below par total.
Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya were not able to carry on after the starts they got and their failure prevented India from posting fighting totals.
Yuvraj had taken his international retirement in 2019 but recently he announced that he will return to the pitch in February 2022.
“God decides your destiny !!On public demand il be back on the pitch hopefully in February ! Ain’t nothing like this feeling ! Thank you for your love and wishes mean a lot to me ! Keep supporting India, it’s our team and a true fan will show his or her support in tough times,” the 39-year-old wrote on Twitter.
The southpaw played his last ODI and T20I game in 2017. He was named ‘Player of the series’ in India’s 50-over World Cup title win in 2011 and played a crucial knock in inaugural T20 World Cup 2007 title win as well including the iconic six sixes in an over off Stuart Broad’s bowling.
