Iyer will stay in Sydney until he is declared fit to fly back home. Earlier, it was reported that Iyer will required three to four weeks to recover. As per current situation, Iyer is likely to miss the three-ODI series against South Africa at home. There is no set timeline for his return as the Mumbai batter is still in the hospital.
