The fourth T20I between India and Australia at Carrara Oval in Queensland witnessed a moment of pure power on November 6, as Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube launched a gigantic six. This spectacular hit, which ultimately disappeared out of the ground, immediately followed a message which was conveyed to him via his benched teammate Rinku Singh from head coach Gautam Gambhir.
The monstrous six came off Adam Zampa's bowling when the Australian spinner offered a tossed-up delivery wide outside the off stump, but Dube was ready to pounce. Stepping down the pitch, Dube mercilessly unleashed his full strength, sending the ball soaring over the long-on boundary. The sheer force of the strike resulted in the ball traveling completely out of Carrara Oval, forcing the match to pause while the umpires called for a replacement ball.

Dube, however, didn't get to spend much time on the crease as he was sent back to the hut by Nathan Ellis in the 12th over. The explosive southpaw scored an 18-ball 22 which was laced with a six and as many fours.
Shubman Gill then shouldered the responsibility of scoring runs and thus remained India's top scorer with 39-ball 46. India ended up posting a total of 167/8. Both Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa remained the pick of the bowlers for Australia with three wickets apiece.
Earlier, Australia won the toss and put India to bat first.
Right after losing the toss, India captain Suryakumar Yadav, said:
"This is what you play bilaterals for, you challenge yourself and it is a beautiful stadium, everything to play for. The preparation has been good. We had a day off, had a good practice session yesterday, looks like a subcontinent wicket, later on it might get slower so we are happy to bat first. We were looking to bat first. Looks similar to Indian conditions, put runs on the board and we want to take up that challenge. We are going with the same team".

Meanwhile, Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh, after winning the toss, said:
"We are going to bowl first. We don't play a lot here. It is great to be here, will try to get as much information about the surface as we can. It is great, five-match series going down to the last two games, both teams will be pumped. We have four changes - Zampa, Maxwell, Philippe and Dwarshuis come in for four other guys."
