Australian cricketers were spotted sledging Nitish Kumar Reddy during the third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the iconic Gabba stadium. The incident happened when Reddy was batting against Nathan Lyon during India's first inning of the Gabba Test.
Reddy who was one of the best performers in the ongoing five-Test match series was seen silent as the hosts tried to play with his mind. The video of the incident went viral and here is the clip.
Nitish Reddy who scored atealst 40 runs in his every Test outing against Australia failed to perform during the first inning of the Gabba Test as he got out after scoring just 16 runs.
Coming back to the match, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja's batting and defence from tailenders Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep helped India prevent a follow-on against Australia as a rain-affected day three at Brisbane.
At the end of the day's play, India was 252/9, with Akash Deep (27*) and Bumrah (10*) unbeaten. They trail the Aussies by 193 runs. There are high chance that Day 4 of the ongoing Gabba Test will most likely to be washed out as there are high chances of rain in Brisbane.
