India's pace bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has lost his no.1 spot in International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI bowling rankings within a week. Kiwi left-arm pacer Trent Boult has reclaimed the top spot without playing a single ODI since March 26, 2021.

Bumrah rose to the top after record-breaking six-fer to demolish England’s batting lineup at Kennington Oval. However, the pacer missed the decider of the series at Manchester due to back spasms. Bumrah is unlikely to regain the top spot soon as he has been rested for the West Indies tour.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya's man of the series display helped him rise 13 spots to become the eighth-ranked all-rounder. In the bowling department as well, the Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper rose eight spots to take the 42nd rank.

Yuzvendra Chahal took seven wicket sin the series including the record four-fer at Lord's in a losing cause. The leg-spinner jumped four spots to 16th.

Rishabh Pant saved his best for the final and scored 125 in the run chase after India's top-order collapsed again. Pant's maiden ODI century helped him gain 25 spots and rise to 52nd.

Virat Kohli's slump in form continued and cost him a spot in the rankings. Opener Rohit dropped a spot too as he could not make a mark after an unbeaten half-century in the first ODI. Similarly, South Africa wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock slipped one place. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam remains on top as his stellar show continues.

Ben Stokes, who recently announced his retirement from the ODI format, dropped four spots and now is ranked 11th in the all-rounder's rankings. In Stokes' farewell ODI game, Proteas batter Rassie van der Dussen hit his third ODI century which helped him jump to third place in the batter's rankings.

Chris Woakes, who has been out of the side due to injury, fell two spots as well in bowlers and all-rounder rankings.
