Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul provided a massive update on fast bowler Mayank Yadav's fitness after the franchise suffered defeat against the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match on April 12 (Friday). Rahul revealed that the tearaway pacer is itching to return to the field but the franchise is being cautious with the 21-year-old right-arm pacer. The LSG skipper affirmed that Mayank might miss a couple of more matches.

"Mayank Yadav is not too bad, he looks good, feeling good but we also want to make sure we don't rush him back in too early. He's young, we need to protect his body. He's itching to go, we just have to pull him back a little, maybe a couple of more games, before he comes back," Rahul told the broadcasters after the game, as quoted by ESPNcricinfo.
