IPL 2022 Final Update: Season finale at Ahmedabad to start at 8 pm

The extravagant India Premier League 2022 is toward its business end and the excitement among the cricket fans is building up day by day. Meanwhile, in a major development it has been learnt by Sports Tak that the season finale which is scheduled to be played at Ahmedabad on May 29, the timing of the match has been changed in view of the staging of closing ceremony. The IPL 2022's final match which was earlier planned to start from 7:30 pm, will now be played from 8:00 pm.

 

BCCI is inviting all the state association some special dignitaries ( overseas board) and members of ICC to attend the event.

 

IPL 2022 has already completed its 66th match of the season and teams are leaving no stone unturned in a bid to win the coveted IPL trophy.

The play-off race has also heated up as franchisees are leaving no stone unturned to make their case in the top-four which will pave their path in the tournament.

 

Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT), who qualified for IPL Playoff on Tuesday currently assume the top on the IPL 2022 points table while fellow debutants LSG are on the second spot on the table. RR, despite the loss, continue to be in third place while RCB takes the fourth place. DC is now fifth on the IPL 2022 points table. SRH has slipped to the sixth spot, while KKR is seventh. PBKS are now in eighth place with Chennai Super Kings ninth and Mumbai Indians tenth taking the last two spots.
