Rohit Sharma turns ultimate six-hitting machine, becomes first Indian to achieve this historic feat in IPL

Mumbai Indians (MI) superstar Rohit Sharma scripted history during IPL 2025 Eliminator clash against Gujarat Titans (GT) on May 30.

Rohit Sharma tonked his 300th six in the IPL to become only the first Indian to do so. Overall he became the second batter to hit 300 sixes in IPL.

Chris Gayle remains at the top of the IPL's six-hitting leaderboard with an impressive 357 maximums from 142 matches. He holds a comfortable lead over Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who sits in third place with 291 sixes to his name.

Rohit Sharma is followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s superstar batter Virat Kohli with 291 sixes.
