LSG all-rounder still awaiting debut after trade from Mumbai Indians.

Lucknow Super Giants all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar has been given the green signal to participate in another T20 league, as his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut for LSG remains uncertain.

Tendulkar, who was traded to the UP-based franchise by MI in place of Shardul Thakur earlier, has yet to play a game this season. Amid the absence from the IPL, the 26-year-old has been cleared to participate in the T20 Mumbai League.

Arjun Tendulkar to participate in T20 Mumbai League

Tendulkar, along with another former Mumbai wicketkeeper-batter Siddhant Addhatrao, has been permitted to take part in the auction pool for the T20 Mumbai League.

"This is to inform you that the Board of Control for Cricket in India has approved the participation of Mr. Arjun Tendulkar and Mr. Siddhant Addhatrao in the T20 Mumbai League – Season 4. Accordingly, both the above-mentioned players shall be included in the Auction Pool," stated a communication from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) (via The Hindu).

Not to mention, both Addhatrao and Tendulkar do not represent Mumbai in the domestic circuit, as the former represents Pondicherry, while the latter has been playing for Goa for a while now.

The perk for both players is that they do not require a non-objectionable certificate (NOC) as they haven't participated in any other interstate T20 league in the last 12 months.

"Since they have not participated in the T20 league organised by the association of their respective teams, the BCCI has allowed them to participate in the T20 Mumbai League,” Unmesh Khanvilkar, MCA secretary, told The Hindu.

Tendulkar's IPL stats

Arjun Tendulkar made his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians in 2023 and played four matches, picking up three wickets in 9.5 overs bowled at an average of 30.67, the same season he batted with a strike rate of 145 in the same season.

The following season, he could only play one game, where he bowled 2.2 overs and couldn't pick up any wickets. In 2025, he didn't play any games before being traded to LSG this season.
