There are several Australian players playing in the IPL and the PSL.

The remaining of PSL 2025 matches have been shifted to the UAE.

On May 8, following the escalations on the India-Pakistan border, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) was called off midway. On the other side of the border, Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 has been shifted to the UAE following damage to the Rawalpindi Stadium where Peshawar Zalmi were scheduled to go up against Karachi Kings. On May 9, Cricket Australia (CA) issued a statement saying they are monitoring the situation and in constant touch with both boards, local governement authorities, players and support staff.

"We continue to closely monitor the situation in Pakistan and India, including obtaining regular advice and updates from the Australian Government, the PCB, BCCI and local government authorities, and maintaining communication with our players and support staff currently in the region," CA said in a statement.

PCB chief announces PSL 2025 to be shifted to UAE

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi has claimed that the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was targetted to disrupt PSL 2025. He alleged that India's retaliation to Pakistan targetting 15 cities is 'irresponsible' and 'dangerous'.

"However, in view of the extremely irresponsible and dangerous Indian act of targeting the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which was manifestly done to disrupt the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League X, the PCB has decided to shift the remaining matches to UAE," Naqvi said.

"As a responsible organisation that has overcome adversities repeatedly and ensured that the game of cricket flourishes, it was important for us to ensure the mental well-being of all players participating in the HBL PSL," he added.
