The USA player in an exclusive conversation with Sports Tak talked about the cut-throat competition in the auction and expressed that he was grateful to make it into the shortlist.

"I mean firstly I'm grateful that I was shortlisted in the final list and yeah I mean it's just an opportunity any team you get to play it would have been nice but I see there was like cut throat competition and some great players as well who didn't make the cut so I'm looking forward to seeing the tournament as well and learn from that and try and get better and come stronger next year," Saurabha Netravalkar who is currently playing in United States Premier League 2024 told Sports Tak.

The star from the USA was also asked about his favourite IPL team or franchise he would have liked to represent but Netravalkar could not make any pick as he said each team is built with superstars and great cricketers.

"Each team if you see now they're like built with like superstars and great cricketers I just enjoy the game like I like to see good players perform and I try to learn from whatever I can take and add that to my game," said Netravalkar.

Since his heroics for the USA in the T20 World Cup, Netravalkar has been rapidly rising in the cricket community. After helping his team achieve a historic victory and protecting 18 runs against Pakistan in the super over, he gained notoriety. During the match against India, he also got rid of Rohit Sharma and dismissed Virat Kohli for a golden duck. Netravalkar is currently playing in the United States Premier League and is part of the New Jersey Titans team.
