GT vs DC Match Prediction: Gujarat Titans face their biggest challenge at home as Axar Patel's Delhi Capitals look to continue dominant run

Delhi Capitals (DC) look like the most complete side despite their top order woes due to Faf du Plessis' injury and Jake Fraser-McGurk's lean patch. DC lost just one match at home to Mumbai Indians (MI) owing to a batting collapse. Then, they clinched a victory from the jaws of defeat in a super over encounter against Rajasthan Royals (RR). DC are yet to lose an away game. They gear up to take on Gujarat Titans (GT) in Ahmedabad which is DC captain Axar Patel's homeground. 

GT vs DC Toss Prediction

Due is unlikely to play a role in the high-intensity encounter where the excessive heat will make it challenging for the players. The captain winning the toss may look to bowl first as spin may come into play. Patel has an in-form left-arm chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav in the side who will be the key for the visitors.

Patel found his form with the bat in the previous match. Playing at his homeground, he is likely to lead from the front. Mukesh Kumar who has been expensive will be relieved to come to Ahmedabad. In the last season, he claimed three wickets as GT suffered a collapse. While Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep's form is promising, KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs' big-hitting is likely to play a huge role in Ahmedabad. 

Unlike DC's top order, GT's top three have been firing on all cylinders. Shubman Gill is yet to play the perfect knock but Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler have piled on runs. Sudharsan will take a chance to take the orange cap. He has scored 329 runs from six innings at an average of 54.83, including four half-centuries. While Rashid Khan has struggled to get breakthroughs, left-arm spinner Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore has done well. GT need their middle order to fire against DC to post a big total or chase one down.
