After playing a 49-run knock against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans (GT) batter Sai Sudharsan scored 186 runs in his three outings of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The star batter is just three runs shy of sealing the top spot. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) star Nicholas Pooran, currently in the form of his life, is holding the Orange Cap with 189 runs in three outings with an average of 63.00. His highest score in the ongoing cash-rich league is 75. 

Another GT star, Jos Buttler, is third in the list, scoring 152 runs in three outings, whereas Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shreyas Iyer is on fourth as he scored 149 runs in two outings so far. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star Travis Head also comes in the list, scoring 136 runs in three IPL outings.

SRH will play their fourth IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 3 and the franchise will look for their second win of the season where Travis Head's performance will play a crucial role. The Australian star needs 53 runs to get the Orange Cap.

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli, who was the Orange Cap holder in the last edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently in the 18th position, scoring 97 runs in three outings with a highest score of 59 not out. 

Coming to the IPL 2025 points table, the Shreyas Iyer-led PBKS are currently on top with four points. The Punjab-based franchise has played two matches in the tournament so far and won both.
