The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will resume from May 17 after being suspended because of the rising border tensions between India and Pakistan. Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be seen featuring against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. 

However, as per the Bengaluru weather reports, there are high chances that the clash between RCB and KKR will likely to get spoiled due to rain or bad weather. There are 65% chances of rain during the RCB vs KKR match in Bengaluru. The temperature is predicted to be a maximum of 31 degrees and a minimum of 22 degrees.

RCB's performance in IPL 2025

Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are off to a memorable start and the franchise are currently on second in the points table with 16 points from 11 games. However, they faced a huge below as their skipper Rajat Patidar injured himself during the last outing against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). There are chances that he might feature as an impact player in RCB's upcoming clash.

KKR IPL 2025 performance

Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had a  bad season so far and they are currently on a do-or-die situation in the playoffs race. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side are currently on sixth in the points table with five wins in 12 outings. The franchise are coming after losing their last clash.  

Will Patidar feature against KKR?

RCB skipper Rajat Patidar was spotted batting in the nets in Bengaluru ahead of the KKR clash and he batted quite fluently and his availability for RCB's match against KKR on Saturday depends on further medical evaluation.
