PBKS got all out on 111 runs

Prabhsimran Singh (30 off 15) and Priyansh Arya (22 off 12) combined for 39 runs for the first wicket off 20 balls, giving Punjab a strong start. But with their consistent hits, Varun Chakravarthy and Harshit Rana (3/25, 3 overs) pulled KKR back into the match. In his first over, Rana claimed the valuable wickets of Shreyas Iyer and Priyansh Arya for a duck, then Chakravarthy got rid of Josh Inglis leg before wicket for two.

The hard-hitting Prabhsimran was also dismissed by Rana for 30 (15), leaving Punjab reeling at 54/4 after six overs. Even after the powerplay, Punjab had little reprieve as their batting was strangled by the wicked spin of Narine and Chakravarthy (2/21). As Punjab was dismissed for just 111, Anrich Nortje (1/23) and Vaibhav Arora (1/26 in 2.2 overs) both contributed one wicket.

PBKS pull off historic victory

KKR lost both their openers on the score of 7. However, the 55-run partnership between captain Ajinkya Rahane and young Angkrish Raghuvanshi revived the team. Although it was Yuzi Chal who stunned the side with his spectacular comeback. He dismissed both set batters in quick intervals.  He finished with the figures of 4/28 in four overs. PBKS' comeback with the ball had KKR on the ropes. They went from 72/4 in 9.1 overs to 95 all out by 15.1 overs.

Everyone counted out PBKS from this game after their batting failure ,but Chahal's comeback with the ball, who had been struggling in the season till now, ensured that the team pulled off a stunning win.
