The situation deteriorated rapidly when Josh Hazlewood joined the attack, turning the early pressure into a total disaster. The Australian pacer took control in the second over, stunning KL Rahul and Sameer Rizvi on consecutive deliveries. With three wickets down in a matter of moments, Delhi was suddenly on the brink of total failure, unable to find an answer to the relentless seam attack.

In the third over, Bhuvneshwar Kumar returned to further tighten the screws on the struggling lineup. The final blow came in the fourth over when Josh Hazlewood dismissed Nitish Rana for 1, cementing the team's unwanted place in the record books.
