Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a close two-wicket win over Mumbai Indians (MI) in their IPL 2026 clash on Sunday, May 10 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Raipur. It was Krunal Pandya's heroic knock of 73 off 46 which led RCB cross the finish line amid a serious top and middle-order collapse.
Krunal Pandya shows injury scars
Krunal Pandya scored 73 off 46 balls with the help of four boundaries and five sixes at a strike rate of 158.70. However, Krunal Pandya delivered a decent bowling spell of 0/26 in three overs at an economy rate of 8.67.

After the game, Krunal shared a picture of himself where he flexed his injury scars, as he was very happy with the team's win and ahead of the fag end of the tournament.
"Some scars are proof that it was worth fighting for," wrote Krunal in the caption
Krunal Pandya is going through an amazing form, scoring 141 runs in 11 games with the bat at an average of 35.25 clocking a strike rate of 150. With the ball, the left-arm spinner has managed to take 10 wickets in 11 games at an economy rate of 8.71.
RCB's solid performance in IPL 2026
It will be interesting to see if RCB could manage to continue their winning form in the latter stages of the tournament, as playoffs are just around the corner. With the win over MI, RCB reached the top of the table with 14 points in hand after playing 11 matches (Seven wins and four losses) at a net run rate of +1.103.
RCB will lock horns against Ajinkya Rahane-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their upcoming IPL 2026 clash on Wednesday, May 13 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Raipur. On the other hand, Ajinkya Rahane and Co. are coming after four consecutive victories.
