In the second Innings, despite losing Sai Sudharsan early, Shubman Gill made sure of a flying start with his fiery innings, with the help of four boundaries and three sixes. Meanwhile, Jos Buttler also made a valuable contribution of 39 runs off 19 balls in the run-chase. Rahul Tewatia and Jason Holder provided the finishing touches with unbeaten 27 off 17 and 12 off 10 respectively.

Opening up on his blistering innings, Shubman Gill revealed that it feels so satisfying with a match-winning knock. Although, the former KKR batter admitted that he got a little lucky on the first delivery of his innings but had confidence to attack the bowlers.

"Feels very satisfying. I was just feeling I was in the zone. First ball I got a bit lucky and then I thought today was my day. I was confident of taking the bowling on," said Shubman Gill.

Talking further, Shubman said that it feels good to restrict a side to just 155 on a flat wicket like Ahmedabad. The GT skipper also focused on the side's poor fielding while revealing the energy was quite high after the second over of the first innings.

"On a wicket to restrict a team like them to 155 is very nice. At times we haven’t fielded as well, but today the energy was quite high after the 2nd over," added Gill.
