Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star Subramaniam Badrinath trolled arch-rivals Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. IPL 2025 is scheduled to start on March 22 where defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face RCB in the tournament's opener at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. 

Badrinath took his Instagram and shared a clip representing  CSK in the video, going on to either shake hands or hug, all of the other representatives. However, as soon as the man representing RCB is shown in the video, Badrinath ruthlessly ignores him and walks on. Here is the clip. 

CSK is one of the most successful franchises in the history of the tournament. The team won five IPL titles under MS Dhoni's captaincy They were the first team to secure back-to-back titles, triumphing over RCB in the 2011 final. On the other hand, RCB despite a star-studded squad yet to win the trophy.

RCB and CSK last faced each other in a do-or-die clash of the last edition of the tournament where RCB defeated the five-time champions to end their campaign. RCB's celebration after defeating CSK faced a lot of criticism. In the upcoming edition of the tournament, they will play two matches against each other. They will meet for the first time in Chennai on March 28. CSK will travel to Bengaluru on May 3. RCB and CSK are arch-rivals on the field and their matches draw huge attention.

RCB will face KKR in their opener clash and CSK will face the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai to start their IPL campaign.
