Five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) have started their preparations for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, which is scheduled to start from March 28. Ahead of the mega event, the franchise hosted a fan event called MI Mix at  Jio World Garden, which was attended by the likes of current captain Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, and former skipper Rohit Sharma.

The trio interacted with fans, but it was Rohit who really caught everyone’s attention. He thanked the supporters for always standing by the team and asked them to keep showing the same love this season. In return, he promised that the team would give their best to bring home a sixth IPL title in 2026. The clip of the incident went viral on social media. Here is the video.

“I want to thank you all on my team’s behalf. Keep supporting us like you do every year. We love it. And in return, we will try to make it [title] number 6. Is baar Number 6 aapke paas laakar rakhein?" Rohit said during the event.
