Bhuvneshwar Kumar will feature in the CSK vs RCB IPL 2025 clash

Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) new recruit Bhuvneshwar Kumar set to feature in their second Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against Chennai Super Kings at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 28. Swing specialist Bhuvneshwar who was part of SRH in the last edition of the tournament, was picked by RCB in IPL 2025 mega auction for a whopping price of INR 10.75 Crore.

The speedster missed RCB's tournament opener against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) due to a minor injury. He has now fully recovered and was seen bowling at full speed in practice. RCB head coach Dinesh Karthik revealed that Bhuvneshwar Kumar is fully fit.

“As far as I know, there are no issues” said Dinesh Karthik on Bhuvneshwar Kumar's availability.

RCB also took their 'X' formerly known as Twitter to share a video from Chepauk where Bhuvi can be seen bowling. Here is the clip.

Dinesh Karthik also lavished praise on star batter Virat Kohli for his dedication for the game. He revealed that Kohli is practising a new shot at Chepauk to counter CSK's spin attack.

"Even today, just now as I came out, he wanted to work on one more shot. At this point in time, to work on one more shot tells you the hunger that he has in his mindset," Karthik said on the eve of the RCB vs CSK clash.   "He wants to just improve and keep raising the bar. So, he is a special player. And at this point in time, the way I see it, he is batting as confidently and as well as he has ever done in the IPL" said Dinesh Karthik.

Both RCB and CSK have already won their tournament's opener clash. RCB defeated defending champions KKR in the tournament's opener clash and CSK beat Mumbai Indians (MI) in their opener clash of the cash-rich league.

RCB vs CSK head to head
