As always, nothing stays hidden from fans on social media. With ongoing rumours about tension between some senior players and the team management in the ODI setup, people online jumped at the chance to analyse every small moment from the series opener in Ranchi on Sunday.

Has Kohli ignored Gautam Gambhir?

A clip of Kohli’s alleged death stare after Rohit Sharma reached his half-century, to the batting great's aggressive celebration after completing a century, fans on social media started speculating the meaning of all these gestures.

However, a day after the clash, a video is going viral where Kohli, who is busy on his phone, allegedly ignores his former teammate who looks on as he enters the dressing room after India win in the series opener. Sports Tak doesn't confirm the timings and scenario of this clip. 

Everything well in the Indian dressing room?

BCCI is reportedly concerned over the reported lack of communication between senior India players and the team management and, to address that, has called a meeting which will likely to take place before the 2nd ODI on Wednesday in Raipur. Dainik Jagran reported that everything is not well with Gambhir and senior members of the Indian ODI squad, which includes Rohit and Kohli.

Rohit-Virat's performance against South Africa

Batting duo Rohit and Virat who already retired from Tests and T20Is, produced brilliant performances with the bat, playing key roles in helping India take a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

Kohli smashed his 83rd international century while Rohit smashed a half-century, and during his knock, he broke the record of hitting the most sixes in the format’s history.
