Andrew Flintoff's son Rocky smashes blistering 65-ball ton in One-Day cup

In a series of historic events, Rocky Flintoff, son of former England skipper Andrew Flintoff, recorded a stunning batting display for Lancashire on Tuesday, August 11. The 18-year-old, who represented England at the age-group level, scored a rapid 65-ball hundred against Somerset during One-Day Cup 2026 clash at the Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton.

Rocky Flintoff scores impressive century

The right-handed batter completed his amazing hundred at the start of the 45th over, calmly rotating the strike for a single on the first delivery to bring up the three-figure mark.

Batting at No.5, Rocky turned his century into a blistering 123 off only 76 balls, with the help of 10 boundaries and seven sixes. He also stitched together a massive 214-run stand with Keaton Jennings for the fourth wicket. Jennings managed to score 156 off 127 balls as their dominant partnership powered Lancashire to an imposing 443/6 from 50 overs.

The knock also marked a big personal milestone for Rocky, who smashed his first List A century of his career. Before Tuesday's game the youngster had gathered 350 runs from 14 games in the format, with two fifties to his name. His first-class career remains in its early stages, having scored 137 runs nine innings from five games.

Rocky's impressive form in One-Day Cup

Rocky entered the Somerset game after registering an impressive performance against Warwickshire in Lancashire's previous One-Day Cup game. Coming in at No.5, the youngster remained unbeaten on 61 from 51 balls, hitting six fours and one six.
