Following the conclusion of their upcoming Test assignment against the England Lions, the India A team will be hosting Australia A and South Africa A by the end of the year. Both the series will be comprising of both Test and ODIs. Neither side has so far announced their squads for these upcoming series.
Both Australia and South Africa will play 2 Tests and 3 ODIs each
The Australia A team will be playing two Tests and three ODIs in India. While the Test matches will take place in Lucknow, the ODIs will be held in the city of Kanpur. The first Test will be played from September 16 while the second will be played from Spetember 23. On the other hand, the three one-day matches will be held on September 30, October 3 and 5 respectively.
The South Africa A team will also be playing two Tests and three ODIs against India A. The Test matches will take place at the BCCI Centre of Excellence while the ODIs will be held at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. The first Test will begin from October 30 while the second will commence from November 6. On the other hand, the thee one-day games will be played on November 13, 16 and 19 respectively.
The major series against Australia A and South Africa A will be quite important for the India A players as it will be a big chance for them to impress the selectors and make their way into the main team.
The likes of Karun Nair, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan will be featuring for India A in their upcoming tour of England. the first match will be played from May 30 while the third and final one will begin from June 13.

This will be a major opportunity for the new faces to make it to the Indian Test team and even cement their place in it as well. Following the shock Test retirements of both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, there is a big void in the team that needs to be filled as soon as possible and it is likely to get filled by the youngsters only.
