Bangladesh vs Ireland series is scheduled to start from November 11.

Ireland announced their squad for the upcoming Bangladesh tour, which is scheduled to take place next month. Ireland have added five uncapped players in their 15-man Test squad for their tour of Bangladesh. On the other hand, Mark Adair and Josh Little are fit again and will return for the T20I series, which will be played after the red-ball series.

Ireland had missed their two senior fast bowlers during the recent T20Is against England, but their return is a big boost as the team prepares for next year’s T20 World Cup. Adair had knee surgery in August, and Little was out with a side injury.

The Test series in Bangladesh will be only the second time Ireland has played a multi-match Test series. Top-order batters Cade Carmichael and Stephen Doheny, all-rounder Jordan Neill, and left-arm seamer Liam McCarthy have all been called up for the first time. Legspinner Gavin Hoey, who hasn’t played a Test yet, is also back in the squad.

Andy Balbirnie will lead the side. Ireland has been in good form in red-ball cricket, winning their last three Tests since February 2024.
