The BCCI Women's selection commette have announced the India ‘A’ squad for the upcoming ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars, which is scheduled to take place from February 13 in Thailand. Radha Yadav will lead the team, the superstar is currently in lethal form for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the WPL 2026. Radha was also part of India’s historic title-winning side at the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025.

Since the marquee event will be played in T20I format, many Indian cricketers were rewarded with selection after their impressive performance in the Women's Premier League (WPL). Radha Yadav is the most experienced name in the squad, having played over 100 international matches for India.
Young batter Anushka Sharma, who impressed on her WPL debut, has also earned a spot in the team. Sixteen-year-old Deeya Yadav, who featured for Delhi Capitals before being sidelined by injury, has been selected as well.

The squad also includes Minnu Mani, Humairaa Kaazi, Nandani Sharma, Tanuja Kanwer, and Tejal Hasabnis, all of whom are expected to play key roles in the tournament. Meanwhile, players like Sajeevan Sajana, Saika Ishaque, Gautami Naik, and Sanskriti Gupta narrowly missed out on selection.
Fast bowler Jintamani Kalita, who recently replaced Titas Sadhu in the Gujarat Giants camp, has also been named in the squad.

India's schedule in ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars
Team India will start their ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars campaign against UAE on February 13, followed by a highly anticipated clash with arch-rivals Pakistan ‘A’ on February 15. The Women in Blue are placed in Group A along with Pakistan A, UAE and Nepal.
