The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the jam-packed schedule for the upcoming Paytm Australia South Africa tour of India on Wednesday, August 3. They will face the hosts of the T20 World Cup in September in a three-match T20I series, and then a three-match T20I and ODI series against South Africa.

The first of the nine limited-over matches will take place against Australia in Mohali on Tuesday, September 20. And Nagpur and Hyderabad will be hosting the Aussies on Friday, September 23 and Sunday, September 35, for the second and third T20Is respectively.

Meanwhile, the home series against South Africa will begin in Thiruvananthapuram on September 28, with a B team expected to face the Proteas. The second T20I will be played on October 2, 2022, Gandhi Jayanti, to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Guwahati, followed by the last T20I at Indore on October 4.

The action will shift to Lucknow on Thursday, October 6, where the ODI series will get underway. Ranchi will host the second one on Sunday, October 9, and Delhi the third ODI on Tuesday, October 11 respectively.

Following this series, India will be expected to travel to Australia to take place in the T20 World Cup, a trophy that has eluded India since the inaugural edition in 2007. The tournament will kick off on October 16.
