In a double delight to Team India, the Men in Blue will soon be treated with the services of their veteran players Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja, who couldn't feature in the side for quite a time owing to serious injury woes. In all likelihood India's star speedster Bumrah and top-notch all-rounder Jadeja might return to India's fold to take part in the Sri Lanka series which is slated to kick off from January 2023.

A source privy to the development told Sports Tak," Bumrah is doing well and we are hopeful that he will be available for the selection for Sri Lanka series."

“Besides Bumrah, Jadeja is also set to return in January,” the source added.

The series between India and Sri Lanka will see three ODIs and as many T20Is.

Bumrah had injured his back ahead of the Asia Cup 2022 and had hence missed the crucial tournament in UAE. He however returned for the home series that followed against Australia, but was sidelined once again with the same injury and was eventually ruled out of the T20 World Cup.

On the other hand, Jadeja is also missing the ongoing three-match ODI series against Bangladesh and is also doubtful for the two-match Test series. He has been missing in action since sustaining a knee injury during the Asia cup which led him to miss the T20 World cup as well. Ever since his injury Jadeja has been recovering at the National Cricket Academy.
