Pakistan journalists and some former PAK cricketers have all been trying to target legendary cricketer Harbhajan Singh following his statement that came out in support of BCCI for not sending the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for the upcoming edition of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He backed the Indian Cricket Board's stand on this matter and said that safety concerns are real in Pakistan. Now some clout-chasing journalists and ex-cricketers from the PAK time after time cross all limits while replying to the former Indian spinner and another such attempt left the Indian icon infuriated after which he gave them a befitting reply.
Harbhajan Singh backs BCCI
Harbhajan Singh openly came out in support of BCCI's stance on the ICC Champions Trophy and stated that security concerns are still there in Pakistan as there you get to witness something or the other every day. He said BCCI's decision to not send the Indian team to Pakistan is totally right as the safety of our players is our top-most priority. This remark led to many Pakistan journalists and ex-cricketers making the most ridiculous and shameless trolling attempts.
“Why should the Indian team go to Pakistan? The security issue there is significant. The situation in Pakistan is such that incidents occur almost every day. I don't think it's safe to go there. The stance of the BCCI is absolutely correct, and nothing is more important than the safety of our players,” said Harbhajan Singh in a conversation with IANS.

Harbhajan Singh's brutal dig at PAK journalist
One such attempt really left Harbhajan furious after which he once again highlighted why he called Pakistan unsafe to play cricket. He shared a picture of the darkest day in the history of cricket when Pakistani terrorists opened fire on the bus carrying Sri Lankan cricketers in Lahore back in 2009.
Safety had long been a concern of the teams going to Pakistan. After a suicide bombing in front of their hotel in May 2002, New Zealand called it quits on their Test series in Pakistan. On safety grounds, Australia had refused a tour in October 2002. In place of the Indian cricket team, which had withdrawn following the attacks in Mumbai, the Sri Lankan team was in Pakistan. To convince the Sri Lankan group to visit, the Pakistan government proposed to give them presidential-style security. Not only this, just two years back when England was touring Pakistan, there were reports of gunshots being fired just a km away from the English team's hotel room in Multan.
These concerns will only get higher with the Indian cricket team considering their larger-than-life stature and the history between countries. It would indeed be like risking our own players' lives if we send them to Pakistan, where there's no guarantee of safety.
