India to host two more World Cups as schedule for ICC events in 2024-27 cycle revealed; check details here

The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the schedule of ICC events for the 2024-27 cycle. A total of 13 ICC events are scheduled to be staged in four years, including the men's and women's 50-over World Cups, World Test Championship final, Champions Trophy, T20 World Cup and more. The first ICC event for the 2024-27 cycle will be the upcoming men's T20 World Cup scheduled to be co-hosted by the West Indies and the USA in June 2024.

The 2024 women's T20 World Cup is also scheduled to be staged later in the year and Bangladesh will unanimously host the tournament.

India to host two World Cups

India have been given the rights to host the women's ODI World Cup in 2025. The tournament is scheduled to be held in October and November as India will be the sole host.

Meanwhile, India along with Sri Lanka will host the men's T20 World Cup in 2026. The tournament will be staged in October and November of 2026.

Pakistan to host 2025 Champions Trophy

According to the latest announcement by the cricket's governing body, Pakistan will host the 2025 Champions Trophy. The tournament has been scheduled to be played in February next year.

Furthermore, the last ICC event of the 2024-27 cycle will be the men's ODI World Cup will be jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia in 2027.
