India’s rising young star Ruturaj Gaikwad has entered the top ten list in the latest ICC T20I batters rankings. The CSK captain has been rewarded for his performance in the second T20I against Zimbabwe. He has moved thirteen places up to claim seventh position, which is also his career-best position in the ICC T20I rankings. Rinku Singh has also proved his prowess as a finisher for India, he jumped four places to reach number 39.
Abhishek Sharma who announced himself on the international stage with a stunning hundred in the second T20I has also entered the ranking at the 75th position. Ravi Bishnoi has also benefitted from the Zimbabwe series as he moved eight places up to number 14 in the bowlers ranking. Hardik Pandya who recently claimed the top position on the all-rounder’s list was dethroned as he moved down to number two. Wanindu Hasaranga has once again become the No. 1 all-rounder after the updated rankings.

Hardik Pandya emerged as World No1 Men’s T2OI All-rounder after his heroics in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024. However, Hasaranga is back on top now. Australia’s Marcus Stoinis retained his third position and Sikandar Raza’s phenomenal performance helped him retain his 4th spot in the rankings. Ravi Bishnoi moved up to eight places after his commendable performance in the first and second T20I against Zimbabwe. England’s Adil Rashid is still the No. 1 ranked bowler in the world.
