Iceland Cricket, which is known for its witty social media posts, recently trolled former Pakistan captain Babar Azam for his batting struggle in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025. Babar is going through a lean patch in his career. For Peshawar Zalmi, Babar has played three matches in PSL 2025, where he scored just three runs in three matches.

The dig came after Babar got out after scoring just two runs in Peshawar Zalmi's last game. Iceland Cricket took their 'X', formerly known as Twitter, to troll Babar.

After a horrible show in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Babar was dropped from the T20I squad against New Zealand. The ongoing PSL is a great chance for the 30-year-old batter to cement his place in the T20I squad.

Despite Babar's failure at the top, Peshawar Zalmi bounced back in style. After losing early wickets, the middle order powered the franchise mammoth 227 against Multan Sultans. The bowlers dismantled the opposition for just 107 runs, which helped them to register a dominating 120-run win.

Peshawar Zalmi are currently fifth in the Points table, and they will face Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, and Quetta in their upcoming matches of the tournament. Meanwhile, Multan continues to struggle at the bottom, and Islamabad United top the table with three wins in as many games.
