Yograj said that he will never forgive MS Dhoni.

Former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh who is father of legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is known for his controversial remarks. Yograj has often blamed former India captain MS Dhoni for cutting short Yuvraj’s career. Yograj also recalled how he vowed to get revenge from India's 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev who dropped him from the team in 1981.

Yograj feels that Kapil saw him as his potential rival in the team as he was a fast bowler as well. Yograj said that he vowed to get back his revenge when Yuvraj was born by making him a player whose stature will surpass Kapil.

“The greatest captain of our time, Kapil Dev... I told him, I'll leave you in a position where the world would curse you. Today, Yuvraj Singh has 13 trophies, and you have only one, the World Cup. End of discussion,” the 66-year-old said in an interview with Zee Switch.

‘I won’t forgive MS Dhoni'

In the same interaction, Yograj said that he will never forgive Dhoni for destroying his son's career.

“I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life. I have never done two things in life—first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong for me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it my family members or my kids,” Yograj had said.
