Two key changes in India A playing XI
India A kicked off the series on a good note as the first unofficial four-day Test against Sri Lanka ended in a draw. Sai Sudharsan and captain Dhruv Jurel led the charge with brilliant centuries, with debutant speedster Auqib Nabi from Jammu and Kashmir clinched an impressive five-wicket match haul, consisting of four wickets from the first innings.

The tour is heavily focused on giving every member proper exposure, head coach Hrishikesh Kanitkar and the team management are set to try a new combination in the playing XI to ensure everyone gets good amount of match time.
After dropping an impressive performance in his maiden ODI series against Afghanistan, Gurnoor Brar could earn his pace in the playing XI. With the selectors looking to strengthen India's depth in pace attack ahead of the New Zealand tour and the home series against Australia next year, Brar could come in place of Yash Thakur.
On the other hand, Manav Suthar is also set to make a return and lead the spin department. Suthar has been in fine touch since snatching a 10-wicket haul on his Test debut in a one-off Test against Afghanistan and enjoyed a stellar stint in County Championship while representing Warwickshire. The left-arm spinner could replace Harsh Dubey.
Opener Aman Mokhade and leg spinner Zeeshan Ansari, both of whom missed out in the first unofficial Test, are also in consideration for a spot in the playing XI. Ansari could replace off-spinner Saransh Jain if the team management opts for a change in the spin bowling attack.
At the top order, Aman Mokhade is in the race to replace Ayush Pandey, who had a disappointing outing with the bat after failing to score a half-century in either of the innings.
