While confirming the news, the star Indian opener said that she is very happy to join a side like Warwickshire and looking forward to contributing to the side's success.
“I am really pleased to be joining Warwickshire. I have heard so many good things about the club and I am excited to get started and to try and help the team as much as I can," said Pratika in a statement.
The star India opener said that it is going to be a nice opportunity to test her skill set in England and ensured that she will left no stones unturned in extracting great results for the team in the competition.
“It is going to be a great experience for me to test myself playing in England. Walking out at Edgbaston, which is such an iconic ground in world cricket, is also something I am looking forward to," added Pratika Rawal.
Warwickshire's status in the One-Day cup
Currently, Warwickshire sit fifth in the One-Day Cup table, trailing third placed Durham by a margin of two points. A top-three finish would secure a place in the eliminator, where the third-ranked side faces the second-placed team for a berth in the final against the table-toppers.
