India to face arch-rivals Pakistan in Malaysia ahead of Champions Trophy 2025: Check details

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the schedule for the inaugural Women's U19 Asia Cup where India will face Pakistan on December 15.

India will face arch-rivals Pakistan in the opener clash of the inaugural Women's U19 Asia Cup as both teams have been drawn together for the marquee event scheduled to take place in Malaysia. 

The Asian Cricket Council announced that this will be a six-team tournament that will take place in Malaysia, consisting of two groups of three teams each. 

Group A comprises India, Pakistan and Nepal, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and hosts Malaysia. All matches of the tournament will take place at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur.

The tournament is scheduled to start from December 15 where hosts Malaysia face Sri Lanka in the opening game at 9.30 AM, followed by the India-Pakistan clash which will take place at 2 PM IST.

On the second Day (December 16) Sri Lanka will face Bangladesh followed by a clash between Pakistan and Nepal.

The final group-stage games are scheduled for December 17, with Bangladesh meeting Malaysia and India taking on Nepal.

The top two teams from each group advance to the Super Four stage, set for December 19 and 20, while the third-placed teams from each group will compete in a fifth/sixth-place play-off on December 18.

The two leading teams from the Super Four round will then compete in the final on December 22.
