Musheer khan accident: Medanta Hospital have provided some big updates on young Mumbai batter Musheer Khan who was part of a road accident while travelling from Kanpur to Lucknow with his father-cum-coach Naushad. He is the younger brother of Indian player Sarfaraz Khan. The hospital has said that he has been looked for pain in the neck and was admitted in the emergency ward but the good news is that he is out of danger and stable.
“On 27.09.2024 at 08:00 PM, cricket player Musheer Khan, who was injured in a road accident on Purvachal Expressway, was brought to the emergency department of Medanta Hospital suffering from neck pain. He is undergoing treatment under the supervision and supervision of Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Director of Orthopedics Department. Right now his condition remains stable and he is out of danger,” wrote the hospital in its official statement.
Musheer khan accident reason: The reason behind this accident is yet not clear and neither is the impact of this accident on Musheer's near cricketing future. Although the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has not released an official statement but the recovery period is expected to be around 6 weeks to three months which means, Musheer will not play in the Irani Cup, which is set to begin on October 1 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. It is also possible that he will miss the first part of the forthcoming Ranji Trophy 2024–25 season.
