Mumbai's star batter Musheer Khan continued to run riot in England as he cracked yet another century for MCA Emerging Players on July 8. Sarfaraz Khan's younger brother is currently demonstrating exceptional form with the bat during his tour of England.

Musheer Khan runs riot with hat-trick of centuries

Musheer is part of the MCA Emerging Players that is currently playing matches in England. Remarkably, after scoring centuries in his first two matches, Musheer Khan achieved a hat-trick of centuries in the third match of the tour, leaving the English bowlers struggling against his dominant batting performance. Furthermore, he has also been contributing effectively with his bowling. Having recovered from a serious neck injury sustained in a car accident last year, Musheer has made a strong return to red-ball cricket and is now making a significant impact in England.

In the third match of the tour against the Loughborough UCCE team, 20-year-old continued his stellar form by scoring a blistering 146-ball 154 riding on 22 fours and two sixes. He batted at an impressive strike rate of 105.48 during this innings before getting retired hurt to help his team post a colossal total of 384/5 in 60 overs. Prior to this, on July 3, in a match against the Challengers (Combined National Counties) team, Musheer had not only scored a century but also taken a total of 10 wickets. In the second innings of that match, he played a brilliant knock of 125 runs off 127 balls, hitting 11 fours and 1 six. Additionally, he had taken six wickets for 38 runs in the first innings and four wickets for 56 runs in the second innings of the same match, which ultimately ended in a draw. Musheer had also scored a century in the first match of the tour.

In the first match against Nottinghamshire's second XI on June 30th, Musheer Khan once again showcased his talent by scoring a fantastic century in the first innings. He reached the hundred-run mark before being bowled out after facing 127 balls, during which he hit 14 boundaries and amassed a total of 123 runs. This match also concluded in a draw. In this game, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) team batted first and scored 448 runs. Nottinghamshire were then bowled out for 201 runs. Following on, the home side lost seven wickets for 250 runs in their second innings before the game was drawn.
