Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Rasikh Salam will be representing Baroda in the 2025-26 domestic season. Salam has got the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA)
Salam has followed in his RCB teammate Jitesh Sharma who has moved from Vidarbha to Baroda. They will be playing under the leadership of all-rounder Krunal Pandya in the upcoming season.
Rasikh's domestic career -
Rasikh is yet to make his name in first-class cricket. From five games, he has 13 wickets at an average of 25.23. He is yet to take a five-wicket haul in the red-ball format.
He has played 10 List A (One-Day) games and bagged 13 wickets at an average of 37.46. His economy rate is nearly six runs per over.

In the T20s, he is more experienced than the other formats. From 36 games, he has 45 wickets at an average of 23.13. He has a six-wicket haul in his name in the shortest format. He represented India A in ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 and claimed three wickets in just one over against the UAE.
Rasikh in IPL
Rasikh was roped in for Rs 6 crore by RCB in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction. He made his RCB debut in their opening game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and claimed one wicket for 35 runs. He played in place of an unfit Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He got one more chance to play in the season. Against Gujarat Titans (GT), he remained wicketless.
Rasikh started his IPL career at Mumbai Indians (MI). He played just one game and remained wicketless. Three years later, he played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In two games, he remained wicketless but his economy rate of seven runs per over was impressive. He got a longer run at Delhi Capitals (DC) and bagged nine wickets from eight games. However, his economy rate was almost 11 runs per over.
2 new additions to Baroda women's team
Baroda added two veteran players on the women's front. The Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) acquired the services of pacer Shikha Pandey and leg-sinner Poonam Khemmar.
