However, what if we tell you that ICC has ranked the Indian batting maestro Kohli 10 spots higher than Jadeja in the official rankings of T20I all-rounders, it might also make your jaw drop but is really true. Virat is positioned 10 places higher than his teammate in the official standings.

 

Virat ranks higher than Jadeja in all-rounder rankings

 

As per the latest ICC T20I all-rounder rankings, Ravindra Jadeja has been positioned at the 95th spot. Surprisingly, Virat has been placed 10 spots higher than Jadeja at the 85th spot. He has been ranked higher than the likes of Ashton Agar, Odean Smith, Mark Chapman, Keshav Maharaj, and Daryl Mitchell. The current best-ranked Indian T20I all-rounder is Hardik Pandya. He is ranked at the number 3 spot just below Mohammad Nabi and number 1 Wanindu Hasaranga. What's surprising is that Virat has only bowled one over in T20Is in the past 8 years and overall in his career he has only 25.2 overs with 4 T20I wickets in front of his name.

Virat, Jadeja and Rohit retire from T20I cricket

 

Indian veteran players Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and Rohit Sharma have called upon their T20I cricket after a historic triumph in the just-concluded T20 World Cup 2024 after their 7-run win against South Africa.  Virat announced it right after receiving the Player of the Match award for his match-winning performance. Indian captain made it official in the post-match press conference and Ravindra Jadeja announced it through his official Instagram post.
