MS Dhoni is arguably one of the best captains to lead India. Under his captaincy, the Men in Blue won three ICC titles. ICC Champions Trophy, T20 World Cup and ODI World Cup 2011. He announced his international retirement on August 15 2020.

MS Dhoni's last cricketing outing came in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where he captained the franchise after regular skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad ruled out of the tournament due to an elbow injury. However, the franchise had a forgettable outing as they managed to win just four wins out of 14 matches and ended their campaign in 10th place in the points table.
