India pacer Jaydev Unadkat who is currently featuring for Sussex in England's County Championship picked up four wickets by giving 52 runs. Unadkat's four-fer helped Sussex to dismantle Glamorgan for 186 runs. Sussex then scored 121 runs for one wicket by the end of the first day's play and gave a strong reply. Sussex is currently at the top of the points table of County Championship Division Two.
Unadkat started bowling with Ollie Robinson in the match against Glamorgan. He took a wicket on his third ball of the match and dismissed Asa Tribe. This batter could not even open the account. After this, he bowled Glamorgan captain Sam Northeast in the sixth over. Unadkat later got Dan Douthwaite (41), who came at number eight, caught behind the wicket. Similarly, he also sent back number 10 batter Andy Gorvin. Unadkat is bowling well in the County Championship. He took a total of five wickets in the last match against Derbyshire. Earlier, he had taken three wickets against Yorkshire.

Undakat's last outing for India
The 32-year-old pacer is currently out of the Indian Cricket Team. He last featured for India was back in 2023 after 12 years. Unadkat made his Test debut in 2010 during India's tour of South Africa. After his debut match, he was dropped but with his remarkable performance in domestic cricket, he made a place again. In 2022, he played a Test for India again after 12 years from the Mirpur Test against Bangladesh. After this Unadkat also went on the West Indies tour in July 2023. Played two Tests there. Now he is again out of the scheme of things. The selectors are looking for new left-handed pacers.
