In 2018 Australia won the Women's T20 World Cup for the fourth time and then went on to claim the title again in 2020 and 2023. However, New Zealand managed to change the hierarchy by winning the 2024 edition by defeating South Africa in the final game.

Now, Australia are just one step closer to winning the title for the record seventh time. On the other hand, England will look to recreate their 2009 performance to win the title for the second time in their history.
