Czechia
Czechia's hopes of reaching the knockout rounds came to an end after a 3-1 defeat to co-hosts Mexico in their final group-stage fixture. The European nation finished bottom of Group A with just one point.
Group B
Qatar
As hosts of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar endured another disappointing campaign, finishing bottom of Group B with a single point and ending their tournament with a defeat to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Group C
Haiti
Haiti became the first team to be eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup after losing to Scotland and Brazil. Their return to the World Cup after more than five decades ended at the group stage.
Group D
Turkey
Turkey failed to live up to expectations in their first World Cup appearance in 24 years. Defeats to Australia and Paraguay ultimately sealed their elimination from Group D.
Group E
Curacao
Curacao's historic World Cup journey came to an end after their defeat against Ivory Coast. Despite becoming one of the smallest nations to qualify for the tournament, they were unable to progress beyond the group stage.
Group F
Tunisia
Tunisia exited the competition following heavy defeats to Sweden and Japan, extending their wait for a first-ever appearance in the FIFA World Cup knockout rounds.
Group G
New Zealand
New Zealand finished bottom of Group G after collecting just one point from three matches, with their final defeat against Belgium confirming their elimination.
Group H
Uruguay
Saudi Arabia
Neither Uruguay nor Saudi Arabia managed to qualify from Group H. Uruguay finished third with two points, while Saudi Arabia also ended their campaign with two points but remained rooted to the bottom of the standings.

Iraq
Iraq endured a difficult campaign, losing all three group-stage matches to finish at the bottom of Group I without registering a single point.

Jordan
Tournament debutants Jordan were unable to extend their dream run after consecutive defeats ended their hopes of reaching the Round of 32.
Group L
Panama
Panama became the final team from Group L to be eliminated after back-to-back defeats left them with no chance of progressing.
