Kylian Mbappe continues to make history. The Real Madrid superstar has etched his name into FIFA World Cup history by becoming the highest-scoring European player of all time in the tournament.

The French superstar has reached 18 career World Cup goals during France’s knockout-stage match on Tuesday, surpassing Germany’s Miroslav Klose, who held the record with 16.

Mbappe netted twice in the game as his goals came in the 45th and 74th minutes, helping France secure victory alongside Bradley Barcola’s strike. While Mbappe leads the all-time list, here is the list of players who are the top European scorers in the World Cup.
