In a recent lighthearted and candid appearance on the popular Spanish TV show El Hormiguero alongside teammate Ferran Torres, Barcelona midfielder Pedri revealed he would want Kylian Mbappe to be his teammate.
The midfielder immediately turned to Ferran, and both instantly agreed:
“Yes, Mbappe.”
The Frenchman has been nothing short of sensational in his debut full season with the Spanish giants following his high-profile free transfer from PSG in the summer of 2024. The 27-year-old World Cup winner has quickly adapted to life in La Liga and the Champions League, establishing himself as one of the most dominant forwards in Europe.
Meanwhile, after enduring a frustrating month on the sidelines due to a right hamstring injury sustained during Barcelona's Champions League win over Slavia Prague in January, Pedri made his highly anticipated comeback this month, in a La Liga home match against Levante at Spotify Camp Nou.
The 23-year-old was named on the bench as part of a cautious reintegration plan under manager Hansi Flick. Pedri was substituted on to replace the young Marc Bernal in the 66th minute of the game.
